Today we had to create a 3D model inspired by our research. I decided to make lungs out of wire and then wrap thread around it. I also made some flowers and sewed them on to add a bit more detail. I was mostly inspired by David Oliveira's sculptures where he sometimes adds little details like butterflies to his work.
I tried to use wire inside the lungs to make it more like David Oliveira's sculptures but i found it quite hard to bend the wire in all the right places so instead I used different colour thread to make the sculpture more eye catching.
