Rotation Week- Fine Art: The Body- Day 1

On day one of the Fine Art rotation we had to make observational drawings from a life model. We had to try to complete a drawing in different amounts of time in different ways. First we had to do two detailed drawings, one in 10 minutes and the other in 15 minutes but I didn't like how they turned out. Then we had to do a negative space drawing in coloured pencil. I liked how it turned out because of how abstract it looks.

Then we had to do another negative space drawing, this time around the model. I really liked how this turned out because it really stands out because of the darker background.

For our final drawing we could chose how we would draw the model. I chose to do a negative space drawing again but this time using a graphite stick so that it would look a lot darker.
